The Chord Company

Multi-award winner, The Chord Company has grown to become Britain’s foremost manufacturer of hi-fi cables.  From HDMI leads through to high-end speaker cables, Chord is the UK’s most innovative cable manufacturer and also a highly successful exporter.  Their old website did not, however, reflect the company’s position nor did it fully serve its enthusiastic worldwide customer base.

What was needed was a complete redesign, significant improvements in both navigation and functionality, and a content management system (CMS) that would allow easy updates and additions as the awards piled up.  Additionally, Chord wanted to serve their customers and dealer network more effectively and, as part of this, TJC developed a process that locates the site visitor on the globe and maps out the three nearest distributors that stock their preferred product range.  It adds to this dedicated dealer pages, directions and an enquiry form, and effectively drives business to the dealer.
